Hi, Recently I was trying to book a hotel room on oyo app, my booking got processed and amount got deducted from my bank account but no booking was created.

I talked to oyo staff to refund the amount, but they said that there's no booking ID available so we can't refund it. But the amount got deducted from my bank account and no booking ID was there on the app, so how can I give them a booking ID. I have a solid proof of payment, I have paid to Oyo Rooms.

    Double payments refund refused

    Hi,

    I am writing this to bring out that Oyo Hotels has scammed me by making me pay twice for the same booking and has now refused to refund me any amount.

    I booked a room in Oyo Townhouse 1118 SR Nagar, Hyderabad through Oyo app.

    When I reached the hotel, the hotel staff denied my check in citing some technical issue and asked me to pay at the hotel again. Using their UPI scanner. Saying oyo will...

    I had a booking on your property from 3rd sep to 7th Sep and during checkout time the property owner was not providing the Tax Invoice copy and told me to contact the OYO / Agoda team.

    I had tried to reach out to OYO through the app / service dept but not able to get the invoice copy.

    There was an healthy discussion done between Agoda team with their Manager, he assure to provide the invoice copy but negative response was found when interact directly to OYO through mail.

    They are tied up with the property and make the booking, but at the end the property was charging additional amount from the customer and not provide the invoice copy to the customer . Though it was escalated to the OYO team, they only passing the ball from payment gateway site.
    Even though they have the details, they only denied the customer citing the payment gateway base like their tie up property owners.

          I had booked OYO Townhouse 1072 Rks Prestige, Hyderabad on 14th July (Booking ID :X7Y35428) and cancelled the booking on July 17 2023 (Ticket ID: [protected]). I had paid Rs.2877 as advance.
          As per the cancellation policy cancellations before 9AM, July 2023 was 100% refundable.
          However I have not received the refund amount yet.

          I complained to the customer care many times via phone and emails but did not receive any response.

            Not providing room on confirmed booking and not refunding full amount paid in advance

            Booking.com platform with Oyo Rooms

            Booked Collection O 81766 Varahi from 10 Aug 2023 to 14 Aug 2023 through housing.com. Made complete payment in advance to confirm booking of property as per mail from OYO.

            Reached Property on 10 Aug 2023 at 17.00 hrs with spouse. Property informed they do not accept online booking. Why didn't OYO or housing.com know about this ?

            Hi,
            I made a booking with OYO for[protected] to[protected]. The OYO hotel asked me for extra amount to check-in and the OYO customer care cancelled the booking for me promising me refund. I even got an email saying that the refund has been generated but i haven't got any refund till date. Nor do they pick up my calls for this issue. I am always on longs holds with the customer care.

            Here are the booking details:
            Booking ID : S6ZN8107
            Email ID : [protected]@gmail.com
            Amount : Rs. 9, 270

            Can someone from the OYO team get back to me with the refund ID or status? It has been more than 4 months now that i've been waiting for this refund. If not resolved, i will be forced to take legal action.

              Not providing invoice for my room booking in OYO rooms even though i requested customer service multiple times and it seems they are cheating us. please help me here and take strict action on them. and their customer service is worst and there are so many such complaints are there.

                The hotel manager cancelled my oyo booking saying rooms unavailable. Oyo initiated refund of Rs. 9879 and showed status as refund transferred successfully to original mode of payment. I HAVE NOT received any refund in my bank account yet. Called the customer care multiple times but calls gets disconnected after few minutes every time. This seems to be an ongoing fraud by OYO as multiple customers have registered complaints.

                I complained in twitter marking @riteshagar @oyorooms @zeenews @aajtak @republic_bharat and then they replied. Got my money after 4 days from the date they showed status as refund transferred successfully. Pathetic experience. Never using OYO again.

                I got my refund back after 4 days. It was showing status as refund transferred successfully from the first day itself, while it actually got credited after 4 days. This causes panic. I had also complained in twitter which might have helped.

                  The hotel manager cancelled my booking saying rooms not available. I receieved an email from oyo saying full refund processed of Rs. 9879 to my original UPI payment mode. The refund status says refund transferred successfully in the oyo app but I havent got the amount in my bank. I have checked the bank statement multiple times. This is a widespread fraud happening in OYO as many customers have reported this same complaint.

                    I had booked room in Oyo on 28 July 2023 by paying 881 through my credit card. My booking ID is W4XM8384. When I went to the hotel they denied my stay saying that no rooms are available and cancelled my booking. When I called the customer support they told me that I would receive my refund within 7-14 working days but after 14 days i tried reaching them but they disconnected my call making me wait for more than 30 mins. I have no proper details of my refund from OYO. Kindly please help me from this fraud.

                      Denied check in and refund as well, a fraud of 1489rs, please help me

                      I booked an Oyo Room and paid 1600, but when I reached the location I was denied check in even though i paid in advance the money and was asked to leave, in that time I was shifted to another hotel without my consent and that was so bad compared to what i paid for, so I canceled the booking and oyo called this as my mistake and dint even give my money back. Oyo refunded only 111 rs out of 1600, and this was there mistake, my check in time...

                      I have booked an OYO with booking ID: MT4R3509 for two days and due to bad service at the hotel I had to checkout after staying on same day (18th August, 5:10PM). I have confirmed with the Service desk before checking out on the same day, regarding the refund they said it's not possible, and most importantly, HOTEL MANAGER DID NOT CLICK ON "CHECKED OUT" IN HIS SYSTEM. So, I can not see the details of checking out in my app. It shows, I am still staying there. Which is not true. I want the refund.

                        I booked a hotel on oyo and the payment got deducted but on the app no booking ID got generated. Now when I contacted the customer care they said that the payment was unsuccessful on their end and we need to contact our bank partner...but we have a transaction ID through which the payment was confirmed..I don't know why they are not taking responsibility and initializing a refund...

                          Have paid Rs 1466 through GPay to oyo app on 16.08.2023 to book hotel in Hyderabad. My money got deducted but booking not confirmed by oyo app. On calling customer care of oyo they have booked hotel on pay to hotel basis and i have again paid in cash and money paid through is still not refunded.

                          I have called customer care of oyo today and talked about the issue to the lady picked up the call and she transferred the call to her senior, the person to whom call was transferred has abused me and shouted on me.

                          This behavior is not a tall accepted and i want my money back. Oyo customer care is worst. Since, money is deducted but the booking is not showing in app, I couldn't get the booking I'd. But my registered mobile number with the app is [protected]

                            i reached to hotel with my friends on 11th night at 9;30pm and my booking was done by OYO ROOMS BUT THAT HOTEL MANAGER told me that my booking is not there and hotel rooms are occupied and we didnt grt our room on time and we were mentally harrased that time because of oyo's mistakes and that 11th august night we had to pay 5500/- rs to other hotel room for stay for 1 room.
                            i raised a complaint also to your customer care but still my money didnt received yet

                                Almost 20 Days after posting this complaint, I still have not received any response from OYO. This is the worst service provider I have ever experienced.

                                  Refund for extra charges which I was asked at the hotel during early check-in for OYO booking

                                  Hi,
                                  I had made a booking for staying at collection o tierra woods, hbr layout, bangalore-560043 between jul 25-27 and made payment through google pay for rs 2485 (Booking id: i8ct5659).
                                  I wanted early check-in while booking through customer care representative call for which he mentioned the tariff as 30% of one day charge which was maximum of rs 300 (Customer care executive mentioned this amount) and the early check-in charge...
