[Resolved]  Oyo Holidays — worst service delivery and experience

This is in regards to a package that we had booked for south india in july 2019 through oyo holidays package id - 106783.

Unfortunately it was the worst experience of my lifetime with hotels and any travel agency. I am myself a hotelier and have worked in 5 star hotels across india. I did not expect 5 star level of service however clean rooms, hygienic food and basic courtesy is something which i expected from oyo.

I was under an impression that oyo has established well in the market however post my experience i was shocked to see the level of service and staff that you have.

I have a long list of sour experiences which i faced while booking and during my travel. I even contacted some senior resources in the team, unfortunately they were also not of any help.

Please refer to below points of inconvenience which were faced :-

1) while booking my package i was in touch with mr vaibhav tyagi. He was very aggressive while selling the package however post the advance payment was done his aggression towards work turned to ignorance. He started ignoring calls for almost more than a week. Upon speaking with other people i get to know that he and someone in his family was unwell. I expected someone else to at least return the call but that too happened post i contacted someone senior in there company.
I think since i work with hotels i was able to grab hold of the correct person but for a normal person it would have been a nightmare to chase these people on toll free number where u have to wait for at least 20 minutes.

2) you guys insisted on 100% payment before the trip, however u guys do not guarantee anything.in my case u were not able to meet expectations and deliverables as promised, how do you compensate this?

3) when the payments were done post speaking to mr varun jain who assured best of services during the trip.
Couple of days before my travel i received a call at 11 in the night stating that we have an issue with hotel in mysore and we are shifting you to bother hotel.
Is this a time to speak to someone, at 11 in the night? Your staff at your call centers even don't have basic ettiquetts on how to speak to someone when they are calling at such odd hours.

4) the driver which we were given during our travel was fine, however he was himself not aware about places he was taking us to. Even using google maps in the city sightseeing shows that he was a 1st timer.

5) when we reached our first hotel in coorg the rooms were ok, below our expectations. Bed sheets were stained, towels were dirty.

6) the worst ever experience was our breakfast at hotel in coorg. They served us idlis, sambhar and stale bread. The set up was totally unhygienic.
Also is this what is included in breakfast, what if someone cannot have this? The worst thing other than food was the attitude and serving style of waiters in the restaurant.
We were treated differently as we had breakfast comp. Even tea that they serve there is separate for comp breakfast guests and separate for a la carte orders.

7) the only good part was hotel at ooty and the nature of the people working there. Though the hotel was far away from city but the way staff handled things there made us forget even small mistakes.

8) the last leg of stay was in mysore where the hotel jeevan residency was far below basic staying standards. The rooms were in worst condition, the almirah was broken from one side, dust all across in the rooms, white towels had become yellow in colour. The hotel room were so unhygienic that we ordered food from swiggy thinking about condition of there kitchen.
We did receive a call same night from support team and they even shifted us to different room. However it was almost 10 pm and hence not much could have been done from either side.
We did not think of having breakfast there considering the hygiene issues.

These were few issues which i remember and have mentioned clearly.

I await a reply from you in the vice regards and how oyo plans to compensate the same.

An early reply would be appreciated.
