I have booked a room for 3 members at hotel garuda comforts from 23rd november, 2019 to 25th november, 2019 and we paid the complete amount of inr 2738.0 (Booking id: goxk5817). We reached the venue between 3am-4am in the morning of 24th november, 2019. Since we would reach the destination in the early wee hours in the morning, we made booking from 23rd of november, 2019 itself so that we would not face any trouble to check-in in the early hours. But once we reached our venue, the hotel staff did not allow us as he said that the booking with oyo policies didn't match with hotel policies. Immediately we made a call to oyo and we had a heated argument with the concerned oyo executive stating that we are not responsible for your booking and we are no way concerned and cancelled the booking without my knowledge and challeged me to do whatever you want, i'm least bothered. If it is oyo who didn't cross check the policies with hotel, are we supposed to face the consequences by waiting outside the hotel at that wee hours and we were non-locals and our purpose of the visit there is to attend an interview. Later, we raised the issue against this booking and it has been more than 10-15 times we spoke to oyo executives and whenever we spoke we had to narrate the whole story to each executive/whomsoever concerned and they cross check the details every time and drop us with an email stating your refund will be initiated within 7-14 working days and after going through this process repeatedly with so many persons one day we received a mail to submit the bank account details. And finally we received a message stating your refund for inr 2738.0 raised against booking goxk5817 has been denied as per oyo policies.
