I had booked a hotel at allahabad for my two days stay at hotel oyo riash located on vivekananda marg, allahabad, for the 11/07/2019 to 12/07/2019, two rooms and 4 guests. We reached there by uber spending 300 rupees and when we checked in the hotel, the hotel staff refused us rooms stating that the price at which i had booked the hotel was low and they cannot give me rooms. I said then why you did not cancel the booking so that i would have booked some other hotel, i have come with my family and spend 300/- to come all the way to this place and my family is standing on the road with luggage? They were not bothered and just denied, saying call oyo and tell them we are not bothered. I called the oyo help line number but it was just busy and could not contact customer executive, i tried thew chat option and oyo said they will look into this matter and call me back... I waited and waited but neither oyo called neither till this day they have called me regarding this. After an hour of waiting i found that my booking at the hotel was cancelled, so funny? Nice your guests are waiting on the road and instead of solving there problem you cancel the booking? Should anyone book hotels with oyo who cannot help ion case of distress? They will deduct your money if you cancel the booking then what should they do when they cannot provide rooms? Should i get one nights hotel amount in return? What about the harassment? I had to pay double to book an hotel instantly, who will pay for that extra money? Was this information helpful? |
