I'm frustrated in having to write this. Yesterday[protected] I've had booked for a room in Oyo (Companion Leisure homes, Kovalam, Tvm, Kerala). And exactly today[protected] after 9AM, I got a call from the mentioned hotel saying that they have to close the hotel for some maintenance purpose and they doesn't have a room for next two days as they are shut for two days for the maintenance. They asked us to either cancel it or to shift it. For the first, it's been a massive headache for us, because we were visiting the town today and we had reached just the morning. Secondly, we cancelled it, as we couldn't find another good one and we went back, and now, today night I received a mail saying that Oyo have cancelled the booking with a 'NO SHOW'. And when I tried to contact their support team for hours and hours, all of them answered to go with a number starting with 931 and press 2...and when I did that also...they were saying, you do not have any bookings. And when I further tried to call them again, they were not picking up and one of their support center staff hung up on me, I mean, if they cannot support us in this problem, then why are thwy named as the support center staffs? See, this one's not a problem from our side and frankly, it's been a great inconvenience. We hadn't received the refund and they're saying that they have to take the entire amount for the cancellation purpose, which occured entirely due to the hotels problem. Kindly look into the matter and do reply as soon as possible, because this is not something that we could just keep on for days.
