[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — Additional Amount Charged at Hotel (Booking ID - URD67539)

I booked a room at the hotel (oyo 3633 nanda inn) for the price shown in the oyo mobile app which was Rs 436. However, at the time of check-in, I was asked to pay Rs 914 more; only then would they provide the room. He even dared me to call the oyo customer care and tell them about the issue. As I was in a hurry, I paid him the extra charge and got the room. Later, that day, when I asked him for the receipt of the additional amount that I paid, he told that oyo would send me the total bill of Rs 1350 by mail after checkout. Till now, I haven't received any bill and whenever I contact the customer care, they ask me to get the bill from the hotel which the hotel owner would never provide.
I demand a refund of the extra charge incurred of Rs. 914 to resolve this issue

The very next day(30th August) after submitting the complaint, I received a mail from Oyo through the mail-id "[email protected]" stating that the refund would be processed within 7-14 days. Then on 1st September, I received a call from Oyo refund department (+91 1724979551) stating the same things said in the email. The following day, I received the complete refund of Rs.914 that I demanded. I am so satisfied that Consumer Complaints was able to solve my issue.
OYO Rooms customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
