On 11/23/2021 I had booked a room for my visit in Bangalore for the 10th of December. Unfortunately, I had made the full payment on my booking. On the 8th of December, I got the notice that my booking was changed to a cheaper hotel for the same price. I immediately cancelled my booking and I got the email confirmation on my refund being issued on 9th December 9:08 AM.
I was told to wait for 7-14 business days for the refund to be credited back into my account. It's 01/03/2022 now and am still waiting for the refund.
