Oyo Rooms — charged double for the room booked through oyo and confirmed | |
I have booked a hotel at new delhi through oyo rooms. I have booked the room for 2 days at a price of rs 1543/- without food. Later, received a message from oyo to confirm the booking by giving a missed call from my registered mobile no. I have confirmed the same and received a confirmation mail from oyo with the details of the hotel and the total amount i need to pay at hotel. (I. E rs. 1543/-) On the day of check in, i called oyo (Number mentioned on confirmation mail from oyo) to inform about my check in time and received confirmation again from their end. Now after a hectic day and long journey, when i reached hotel for check in, surprisingly the receptionist of the hotel told me that, they are not connected with oyo and i need to pay rs. 3000/- for the same booking which i have made earlier at rs 1543/- I called oyo to fix the issue and repeatedly told them to resolve this. But even after holding the phone for a long time near about an hour, the phone got disconnected. I called up again, another executive picked up the phone and again i narrated the event and after wasting long time to make them understand the issue, the phone got disconnected. I waited there at the reception of the hotel and wasted time to call oyo for near about 2 hours. Finally i paid the amount of rs 3000/- to stay. I need refund of the excess money (I. E.[protected] = 1457) which i have paid. I am attaching the snap of the confirmation mail & the copy of the bill which i paid during the stay at hotel. Was this information helpful? | |
