I have booked hotel from Oyo rooms application on November 13, 2022 for 2 days. I booked through oyo and the name of the Hotel is also Oyo OYO Townhouse 332 Varthur Main Road
15, Thubarahalli, Whitefield, Bangalore. The total charges were Rs.1663 and also I have in advance through online mode. I have email received from Oyo for room charges 1663 and payment done 1663 and total payable 0.
Thereafter I reached hotel and checked in and hotel charges increased by Rs. 453 at the time of check in. I informed the same to Customer care of oyo room that how room charges can increase to Rs.2116 after I booked a hotel at 1663. Since I booked at Rs.1663 that becomes a contract and charges are fixed and I paid in advance of Rs.1663. But increasing hotel rete after booking room is not acceptable not wrong practice and I suffered due the this. Finally, Oyo told be to check in and extra amount I should pay which will be refunded by Oyo after check out. But when I checked out I asked the bill from hotel and hotel denied any bill and told that Oyo will provide the bill and will be send to your email.
Then I informed Oyo customer care to process for refund and as I have email that support that Total charges payable Rs.1663 and total amount paid Rs. 2116. and they agreed to initiate the refund. But thereafter again Oyo customer care asking for hotel bill as proof which is not available as hotel denied the me to provide any bill. Since everything is clearly evident from Oyo app that I have booked at 1663 and I have paid Rs.2116 against same hotel and extra amount of Rs. 463 should be refunded to me. But now Oyo is denied is not acceptable and doing harassment to a customer. Request you to register a complaint against Oyo for denying the refund. Oyo should provide bill since I booked hotel though oyo but also that is not provided. I am attaching all payment evidence and email communication for your reference. Was this information helpful? |
