Oyo Rooms — cheating and fraud | |||
We had booked a hotel for 33 rooms through OYO, Lucknow, for a wedding function that was to be held on 2nd Feburary 2019. We had paid the advance for the rooms on 5th November 2018. The wedding got cancelled due a very serious medical emergency at my home. I had informed the OYO staff (Sachin and Mr Abhinav) about the incident and they told me that they will deduct 30 percent of the amount and return the rest amount. Ideally the amount deducted should be just 15%, altthough we agreed on the 30 percent figure as well. Moreover, they moved the OYO from Sky Hilton Hotel and did not even inform us about the movement. Now we were chasing them without even knowing where they are sitting. The sales person, along with his manager, Mr Abhinav Sharma has been fooling us since 2 months now and we have not got the refund even till date. When we call them, they cut the phone and give random excuses. Please refund the amount asap.
