I made a transaction for booking a hotel via OYO rooms on 4th December 2022 with transaction amount of 1868 but was denied check -in when I reached the hotel then I had a conversation with Oyo customer care executive and he then provided me another hotel with the same price range i.e. 1867 and I completed advance payment for the same. (Booking IDs : Z8Q50667 and WSFN7028)
The Oyo customer care executive told me that the refund would be initiated in 1 hour but it was not. I then made multiple calls to the oyo customer support helpline number but they put me on hold and did not respond, I asked them to provide me with their seniors number on which nobody answered even after many calls. I made all the necessary calls within 7 days of booking. After many attempts of calling them, I was told the refund would be done within an hour and that it had been initiated but it did not. Today (14.12.2022) I called them about the refund but i was told that refund must be initiated within 7 days of booking and I am late and they can not help but I contacted customer care within 7 days however they did not initiate the refund so that is not my fault and the refund must be initiated. I am fed up of calling OYO customer care again and again without any worthy results.
This has caused me tremendous inconvenience. I make sure I don't book through Oyo from the next time and will not even recommend to anyone to book through Oyo.
