On 25th September 2022, we booked a room via OYO rooms and when we reached the hotel, we were denied checkin and told to pay extra. So we immediately called OYO customer service and they promised a refund of the booking amount within 24 hours as it was issue from the OYO rooms side and hotel.
As we were traveling, we couldn't contact them again after 24 hours so I called them again after 2-3 days which was the worst service experience of my life with anyone. I literally called about 50 times and most of them would just put me on hold for 20-30 minutes and then disconnect the call and some would directly say that they'll tranfer the call to the appropriate team and loop me to the IVR. After this headache I found their email address on Google and sent an email. They called me and said that they cannot refund the money as its been more than 7 days since the booking and there is no ticket or complaint id registered with them whereas I literally talked to 50 agents (i have call logs and recordings as well). One person even gave me a random number as the ticket id[protected] and asked to pay some money for this ticket which in fact was for another booking the agent did for his target or something by tricking me. I had to go through another nightmare to cancel this and wasted efforts to escalate this issue. This is absolutely horrendous. I'm never using oyo again.
Please help me in this regard.
