Oyo Rooms — Double payments refund refused



I am writing this to bring out that Oyo Hotels has scammed me by making me pay twice for the same booking and has now refused to refund me any amount.

I booked a room in Oyo Townhouse 1118 SR Nagar, Hyderabad through Oyo app.

When I reached the hotel, the hotel staff denied my check in citing some technical issue and asked me to pay at the hotel again. Using their UPI scanner. Saying oyo will refund the previous amount.

When I complained about it to Oyo’s helpline they said they would refund me the 2nd payment that I made to the hotel.

Everyday they would request for 24 hr time to resolve my issue and now finally they have refused to pay up even though I have submitted enough evidence that I payed twice for the same booking.

This is not just my case.

I am attaching a link where you can see how others are complaining about the exact same issue.

I am aslo attaching proofs of double payment to Oyo Townhouse 1118 also operating as Subham Hotels.
