I had booked hotel downtown for my family in amritsar using oyo mobile app. Upon reaching the hotel, the owner informed us they had broken all ties with oyo, due to dispute over false pricing on their website. When we got in touch with oyo team for this issue, they made our family wait for the whole day and after asking us 20 odd questions and failing to provide alternate accommodation, they informed us to give the refund of 2250, which i had paid for advance booking. As per their policy, all refunds should be received within 7 to 14 working days. It has been more than a 20 days and i do not see any credit of that amount yet. Their team is not providing proper details and is asking me to check with the bank for transaction details. I would like to file. Complaint against oyo rooms for false bookings online, customer harassment by not attended issues correctly and wrongly holding people's money and failing to inform about such issues on time. I am not sure how many more customers have faced same plight but i would request serious investigation into how many such transactions of fake bookings have happened. Was this information helpful? |
