[Resolved] Oyo Rooms — False information and the hotel booked , staff very rude | |
Hi Ritesh Heard about oya rooms and decided to reserve a room fro the first time for a friend, wanted to share the experience/difficulties faced by me. 1. Nov, 8, 2021 (first incident) This is to bring to your notice that i had reserved a room on behalf of my friend for November 8-9, 2021 at Oyo 5171(booking ID F7TY2109), (Mr. Salvador Carneiro: M-[protected]) Hotel Palace Residency, had done a gpay of Rs. 150, got a discount for the room for 599/- i was told. However after hotel palace resident, i was told by the reception at the hotel, the person who book at to com to tha palace and what ever booking was done by me was invalid for the guest to stay as it was not done from the guest's mobile number, the receptionist/owner of the hotel refused any further explanation, and the guest(Mr. Salvador Carneiro: M-[protected]) had to pay the the whole amount, and checked in, since the guest was very exhausted after an eighteen hours of travel checked in at the same place paying the whole amount. this is totally unfair from the customer care they i told them the guest is another person and was traveling, so was unable to make the booking and i did it one his behalf..they said not a problem, but the above incident mentioned happened at the hotel.request you guys dont provide information jusy to make money out of peope. the money i lost the amount paid to get the discount and the guest had to pay the whole amount. 2. November 11, 2021(second incident) Did a booking for the same guest( November 11-12, 2021 at Oyo 76488(booking ID S0O14513), (Mr. Salvador Carneiro: M-[protected]) Hotel iMPEX Residency, (earlier known as cosmo hotel, was very difficult to find the address/location as mentioned hotel Impex) from his telephone number, I mentioned to customer care that the guest has a late check in and late check ou, i was told by customer care that the guest would have to pay aprrox. Rs, 300 for late check out, however today when the guest went to the reception desk, they mentioned it is not allowed and he will have to pay for the whole day charges and that is rs. 1000/-, he wanted a late check out, cause his train was schedule to leave tonight at 9.50 p, m today and he had no place to stay, so he had to check out this afternoon at 12 as told by the owner of the hotel. This is just not done, and in both case we were given false information, we really didnt expect this from Oyo rooms, Hoping you would address this issue in brief Thank you Irene Fernandez M-[protected] Was this information helpful? | |
