[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — I was denied check in - booking id 6274

On 2nd november, 2019 i booked an room with oyo 24743 janak residency. I was checking in late around 4 pm and had my flight at that night. So planned leave early. Around 3:30 pm i called the hotel and told them prepare the room as i will be checking in about 10 minutes. They confirmed and replied positive.

Around 3.45 i reached the oyo and provided my order details and my id. They denied check me in and the reason given was that i paid the amount online. On checking with them they had rooms available but didn't check me in.

I called oyo cs team. The first call was hung up after remaining around 10 mins over the call. I made another call, explained my situation and then my issue was escalated and i talked to some senior guy. He was offering me another oyo. Since i had only an hour till then, so it was useless to travel to that another oyo and wasting time in checking in, keeping in mind that it could be a possibility that there would be problem with the new guest house. So cs guy could only manage to refund my amount. I got my amount. Thank you for keeping my amount safe with you for one hour. Thats a great help.

Also after one hour of moving out of oyo, when i was talking to 2nd cs guy, he connected me to the hotel guy and then the hotel guy was telling me that you should have wait for me, i am welcoming you, come back.

I was there at the hotel around 15-20 mins after i denied check in, and i am sure that the guy who denied us check in had consulted the guy who was wlcoming us after one hour. I am sure because i told him to contact his senior after he denied us check in.

Now summarising my situation:
1. I paid amount upfront.
2. I only had two hours from 4-6 pm, because i had flight that night.
3. I was denied check in.
So the time i wanted to spend with my special one, paying the price upfront and providing all the due docs, i spent that precious time (Around one hour) with oyo cs team, which ruined our mood also.

In return of wasting my time, you have not given me anything. Anything includes trust that it would not be repeated and some actions have been taken against the guest house and i can see the result of it.

Kindly revert me asap. I will be escalating this surely.
