I booked a hotel with oyo on 23rd December 2020 at Dehradun on the same day at the hotel SPOTON DHN582 hotel inn house via oyo app. I got the room at a discounted price via oyo. When I reached the hotel the owner said we are not taking any booking via OYO and that if you want a room you need to book it then and there itself. He also asked to cancel the booking stating that the money will be refunded and asked me to pay extra money for the room instead. As I was in a hurry I booked the room and paid him.
After 5-6 days I was checking for the refund in order to realise I haven't received any. I contacted the oyo real time assistant and asked for the refund since these hotels are working for oyo. As per the response I was told that the refund won't be possible because of their cancellation policy!!!
Does oyo cancellation policy involves providing customers with hotels that don't abide by their working criterias and charge extra money instead?
Does the cancellation policy involve fooling the customers? For their own personal benefit???
Running a company on this level and carrying out such fraudulent activities is not one can expect and it's a shame. Was this information helpful? |
