( OYO TOWNHOUSE 015, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi) I have to book this hotel time and again since I dont have any other option in the area. The first time I stayed, there was no hot running water, the AC was not working despite numerous complaints and out of the whole menu only ‘limited’ items are available as told by the hotel manager. No action was taken for the AC.

After a half an hour conversation with the customer care executive of OYO rooms I received a “35% discount coupon” which was applicable on my next booking. I tried using that but it didnt work. So they told me to call them after the booking and they will manually apply the same.

After I made my next booking for 24th oct- 26oct I called them for the discount. It took them 20miins (on call) to figure out the same and the “senior” executive seemed to be clueless about the whole situation. He said he will get back to me the same day with the solution (as my stay was starting the next day) but there was no response from OYO. Alright I even let that go( because 25% discount was given to every person staying with OYO, so technically I just got a 10% extra discount which they failed to provide). Basically I did not get any compensation for my first stay with them. Due to the hotel’s central location I have to stay in it. I am always carrying a patient with me and it is very difficult to manage in situations like these when the hotel is so unaccomodating. When you are paying close to more than 3000 bucks per night you expect some basic facilities by the hotel.

Coming to my second stay, As I mentioned above I am always carrying a patient so I need to keep track of timely food due to her medication. Now there is no hot running water in the bathroom, and when complained about the manager says that the boiler is on. The water I need should be “hot” not “lukewarm”. No action by him.

I ordered one tomato soup specifically mentioning to not use butter and cream in it. Still when the one bowl of soup came after around 45 minutes there was cream in it. When complained about the same, he said that I had only said about butter and not cream. When he confirmed with his chef he said the cream was in it and eventually he did not charge me for the soup. That is not an acceptable solution. The patient needs to intake food when he needs to . It cannot be postponed to even 10 minutes given the medical condition. When you need to take 10-15 pills in a day, you simply cannot postpone or even alter the strict timings.
When we order food, first the plates come in, that too undernumbered(2 plates for 3 persons), then the spoons arrive after some time, and then the bowls. By the time the crockery and cutlery arrive the food is cold.
Its very difficult to stay as some construction work is going on at the hotel which made my nights sleepless.
OYO ROOMS is a brand, in fact I am staying in a TOWNHOUSE which is their flagship property and this kind of service from the hotel is totally uncalled for.
I want a full refund for both my stays. Very dissapointed with OYO.
