I had booked 2 rooms for a family of 5 people in Hotel Silicon, Srinagar on 10th March, 2023 through OYO for 5-7th April. Booking done amount paid through UPI to Oyo ₹2773. After booking done, I received call from hotel manager telling that they are not taking any bookings through OYO now, and asked me to cancel the booking. I called the customer service number for cancellation. They told me they have applied for cancellation and it’s cancelled now and it will take 2-3 hours for processing and you will receive the refund. But I didn’t receive. Again next day I called the customer service Center they said your booking is still confirmed it’s not cancelled I will cancel it now. Again the same loop. Different customer service executives say different things one says it’s canceled one says it’s not. There is no uniformity. And on the app and website it’s showing canceled. While taking money from people everything goes smoothly but at the time of refund they just fool you. They put you on hold for 15-20 mins then disconnect the call, very Pathetic customer service and the company does fraudulent activities.
