1. I booked for OYO hotel for self and my hotel around 7 PM and got the following confirmation
2. Subsequently I was asked got a notification for online payment to avail a discount of 451 INR for total bill of 4500 Plus INR total bill
3. I did the same and a sum of INR 4067 was deducted from my debit card but I did not get any notification for payment
4. I called the call center around 8 PM to confirm the payment receipt and confirm late check in as I was coming from the hotel
5. The call center team said you need to make payment of INR 451 at the hotel and I want to talk to floor manager to resolve the issue but unfortunately even after 3 - 4 calls and each time holding for more than 15 mins., my problem was not solved talking about some technical issue. They said by check-in they will resolve...
6. I reached the hotel reception and found that near to reception, the team which was suppose to do check in were having food and they took my details.. I told them I would like to check room quality..
7. To my surprise the hotel rooms were full of insects and cockroaches, they showed mw multiple rooms and status was same
8. They asked me to talk to customer care and cancel my reservation
9. I called customer care, there was lady who attended and she said you go ahead and cancel and we cant accommodate you in any other property now as all are full and refund can happen only after 15 working days
10. I got wild as she did not allow me to talk to manager on floor citing no one is available
11. And at the wee hour, I had to find other place spending more money on taxi and hotel bills
12. When I went and cancelled as customer care did not cancel, to my surprise, I got the message some 1400 INR will be deducted
13. I have been with OYO for quite sometime and to my surprise the customer care quality is deteriorating day by day
14. I need my full refund of my booking amount immediately and what way OYO will compensate me for customer loyalty
