[Resolved] Oyo Rooms — oyo customer care misleading | |||
I had made a booking Booking id: vaek9840 Check-in - 30th dec'18 Check-out - 2nd jan'19 Address - 912, vithaldas vaddo, morjim beach road, pernem, morjim, goa View on map Landmark - milagres church, morjim I had called oyo customer care to confirm my booking to verify my booking which they did. I asked them if i should call the hotel to which they said that the booking is confirmed from our end. However on 17th november i called the hotel to cross check, i has told by the hotel that they no longer have any association with oyo rooms and the booking wont be honored. I called oyo again to which they replied that the booking is confirmed and not to worry. However i was not satisfied and made the oyo customer care call the hotel. After the call they came to know that the booking is not being entertained by the hotel. (I have phone recordings for the same) It was only after my efforts that the oyo customer care came to know about the scenario. If i hadnt contacted the hotel i would have landed there without booking. Now i was told by oyo team that they will be giving me alternate booking without any extra cost, but when i recieved the voucher its asking fore more money. My original booking was made 5 months back when the tarrif was low and now the tarrif has gone very high as its new year dates. It is entirely oyos fault and they should give me a alternate booking for same category hotel without any extra cost. Was this information helpful? | |||
