I made a booking ( Booking Ref: N5AN2824 ) of a OYO room and was sent a payment link. I made a UPI payment via Google pay and got a confirmation that the payment was sent. UPI transaction ID[protected] on the 16th September, 2022 at 8.54pm
The hotel reception asked me to make another payment of the same amount before I was allowed to check in.
This seems to be a scam operated by OYO rooms to double charge guests by claiming they did not receive the funds. After doing a Google search I have realised that this is happening with a majority of guests who pay via the payment link . OYO of course is aware of this and continuing with the fraud of asking guests to pay again claiming they have not received the funds.
Return back my money immediately and stop scamming people.
