I made a booking ( Booking Ref: N5AN2824 ) of a OYO room and was sent a payment link. I made a UPI payment via Google pay and got a confirmation that the payment was sent. UPI transaction ID[protected] on the 16th September, 2022 at 8.54pm The hotel reception asked me to make another payment of the same amount before I was allowed to check in. This seems to be a scam operated by OYO rooms to double charge guests by claiming they did not receive the funds. After doing a Google search I have realised that this is happening with a majority of guests who pay via the payment link . OYO of course is aware of this and continuing with the fraud of asking guests to pay again claiming they have not received the funds.
