I have been scammed by oyo by help of thier customer care executive. On5th Sept, 2020 I made a call to the oyo customer care for a booking in Odisha, for which they helped for my booking and asked me mode of payment? I told online, then the executive gave me an offer that if I pay online, the room which was costing 8k, will cost m 5k so i agreed. Meanwhile I got another waiting call from +91 [protected], who claimed to be oyo executive "Vikash Yadav" who told me just now you booked room and choosed to pay online. I am sharing you a link pay via that as I am the executive and can avail more discount of 700, so you have to pay 4343 only.
I made the payment to upi- [protected]@ybl. Post which the executive number was off and I was blocked from his WhatsApp.
I called customer care, they told it was a fraud and it will cost you 8k only. They replied no sir it is not possible and our executive wouldn't have told you anything so and they asked me to pay 8k again to confirm the booking. Was this information helpful? |
