Hi,
I had booked a room from Oyo and I opted for the pre payment option.
Their payment gateway redirected me to the bank, I paid and came back but the front end showed Transaction not completed. So I thought something went wrong and tried to do the payment again. Then realized that they are not doing the front end check for transaction and actually the payment was deducted twice from the bank (Rs 4792 x 2). I immediately called the customer care and informed about the issue and they assured to refund the money back in 4-5 working days. It has been 10 working days now and I called them again. They have assured me the same thing.
Suggest everyone not to take Oyo at any cost because
1) Their front end doesn't handle the payment
2) Their customer care have no idea what's going on
3) They only have phone option in customer care. So whatever we speak is not recorded from the customer's point unless the customer himself or herself records it.
4) Oyo doesn't pay for the loss that happened to you. My money is stuck for 15 days.
5) The customer care never responds back if the issue is resolved.
Hoping that the issue will be solved.
