My oyo booking id is HD7H0019, i went to stay in the oyo 16937 Alankar Residency in Kengeri on April 27th, 2022 night. I paid online in advance for one room with 2 occupancy. When i tried to check into my rooms at 9pm, the executives refused me the entry stating we don't accept online payments, instead I've to pay the hotel tariff which is 1500. The oyo executive looked like goons threatened me you have to pay the 1500 amount or else we won't allow you outside and pulled down the shutter. The service was very poor & the executive (Sanjay [protected]) told that he could give only one occupancy room. I called up oyo call center, oyo told us that they will be contacting the Hotel manager and get back to me, after a while tge oyo call center informs me that since the manager is not responding to calls they suggested me to lodge a complaint once I've checked out. I fear that this habit of pathetic customer service, coupled with negligence towards the customers from whom they took money in advance through online payment is going to continue with oyo. Oyo feels that it is entitled to hold customer responsible for the online payment but not the oyo hotels, on it's customers who have paid oyo for rooms in advance.
I strongly recommend people not to use sloppy online room booking services like oyo.
Other List of the issues as below:
No water in the entire duration of the stay. Could not even use the restroom for the entire duration of the stay.
Unhygienic place
Bathroom is so dirty. Leaking water at multiple places.
Bed linen is in pathetic condition.
The hotel is attached to the OYO I booked the same but it's a really pathetic experience. If you tell me to stay for free I couldn't. It's the worst hotel I have seen in my life.
On a serious note, I need a complete refund of my money. It's not worth 1500+599(online payment).
APART FROM ALL THIS THESE GOONS NAMED (SANJAY) HAD PICKED UP MY LUGGAGE AND THREW DOWN THE STAIRS AND THREATHNED ME WITH DIRE CONSEQUENCES OF I DON'T PAY THE AMOUNT AND STARTED TELLING THIS IS MY LOCAL AREA AND I CAN BEAT YOU UP HERE. Hence had to vacate the premises before time, by almost early morning (4am).
This pathetic display on the part of OYO doest feel safe those who are visiting with the families.
This should not be again taken any further, the oyo license has to be cancelled and compensation has to be given for causing mental agony and humiliation.
Moreover have registered a complaint in the near by Police station bearing the complaint no. IPC/2119/28/3. Legal action will be taken against those goons and it's high time you people respond to this and put an end to this type o[censored]nruly staffs.
