Oyo Rooms — Refund and worst service my money looted

16th June 2023 black day for me unfortunately I booked Oyo room first time without knowing about them. I am wondering how they are running this big business without having basic set-up.

Very common, all the service provider have same system. once you send the payment link or pay option on your website for the same customer has paid, none of the service provider will show the payment gateway again and ask them to pay. In your application I was asked to pay thrice for a single booking, the first time I paid it showed the payment gateway again thinking the previous transaction was unsuccessful I paid again and this idiocy continued one more time I thought the previous 2 transaction were failed so I paid the third time but only when I check my transaction history I realised the payment was successful all the three times the highlight is your idiotic application asked me to pay ₹1300 again while on Booking to "actually" complete the process. I should've have been cautious by this time by acknowledging this is a scam, but my brain did not think I would be fooled. After collecting the payment your application stopped working, it bombarded me with continuous error message. At that time I realised OYO looted my money.

After a series of mishaps I reached out to your customer care service, they checked and said there is some error from our end in the application no need to pay ₹1300/- and also your excess amount which you paid will be refunded to your account.

Time for check-in, unfortunately my client came earlier so, I asked the hotel reception they just had a single adamant answer which I quote "No room for OYO booking because they allotted AC room at a very low price to customer, in that low price they take maximum commission so we won't provide room ask them to change the property", I asked the reception why did you accept the booking if you have these concerns they said we don't know anything ask OYO. I called the customer care again, on the other side of the call a lady, brain eater picked the call and to change the property she asked my details more than ten times repeatedly and finally asked me to pay through the link she sent so, I paid ₹122 and again they said not yet received after several argument again I paid ₹122. I asked her to allocate the room for the same price but she was ignorant and allocated the room for ₹1687/- including yearly check-in price ₹100/- which I paid directly to the hotel. Now what I have paid for the previous room thrice I was refunded only twice and another transaction was not refunded. Cheated amount of ₹122 + ₹122 which is not related to me because of your mistake, you are changing the property for your own convenience. Excess amount what I have paid to the Stayed hotel because of your mistake need to be refunded otherwise will take further legal actions.

avoid oyo for booking hotels...no customer assistance, hotel sometime denied checkin due to low price, application & payment have frequent issue...customer executive are arrogant & uneducated people dont know much about customer satisfaction
