I made a booking for 5 days from 16th July to 21st July and pre-paid via Google pay to avoid any hassles. On 16th July after confirming multiple times with the hotel about availability, OYO could not give me the room because they overbooked it. As I was not happy with the alternative options they provided I asked for a refund. I then had to scramble to find a different place to stay on my own while I was traveling to Bangalore. On 16th July they said that I will receive the full refund in 7-14 days, but it has been 38 days now and I still haven't received the refund(attaching screenshot of the mail). OYO customer service keeps using internal jargons like complaint was raised, but not initiated even though the mail said so.
Last week they asked for bank details and I gave them details of the account from which payment was done but I still haven't received the amount.
OYO customer care hasn't been any help either. They keep me on hold for 10 minutes and end the call, or they end the call immediately. I have recordings.
