I booked a hotel on 21/09/22 through the OYO app. The hotel's name was SPOT ON 74664 Dalhousie Guest House in Kolkata. I paid the charges online while booking. The booking id is FIRR5695. After booking, I got a confirmation message through WhatsApp. Then again after 5 min, I got a message stating that either I need to shift a booking to a nearby place or cancel the booking as the current hotel is unavailable. It also mentioned that if I cancel I would get my entire amount back. First I tried to shift but I did not get any response then I tried to cancel and again I did not get any response. I have also attached a screenshot of the conversation. Also, I contacted the hotel but they said to contact the OYO for this and said that they weren't responsible for this.
I waited for 2-3 days to see if I would get my money back but I haven't got it. Please see through this and return my money as soon as possible. This is not expected from a company like OYO.
The refund amount is 710 rupees.
