I booked a room at hotel oyo 8751 hotel shoba inn through oyo app for 2 days. My check in date was on 7th of august 2019, i did the payment (Amount rs 1244/-) online through payu (Order id:[protected] on the same day.
But when i reached the hotel, they said we will not accept payment done by online transaction as we have faced trouble collecting that money from oyo in the past. And hence they denied me check in.
I was stranded there at an unknown place with my luggage for around 2 hours. I contacted oyo (Request id[protected] and they confirmed the same, and offered me that they would shift me to an another hotel nearby (For which i have to pay the extra amount if needed), which i didn't take as the hotel they offered had low ratings and poor service. So they said they would give me a complete refund and have to cancel the current booking. I accepted it as i decided to find an hotel myself.
I was told that i would get a refund in 7-10 working days, but i haven't yet received any refund. I tried contacting them but in vain.
So please escalate this matter to the highest authority and help me get my refund. Was this information helpful? |
