[Resolved] Oyo Rooms — refund request from oyo | |||
We booked a hotel "Hari Vilas Bhawan" in Mathura for 3 Oyo rooms for Saturday, 14th September 2019 in the name of Gaurav Srivastava ([protected]) and it was a pre-payment, on arrival (with 2 males, 5 females and 1 kid) at 12:15 am hotel denied check-in stating they do not have any tie-up with Oyo anymore as they didn't disburse their payment. We complained at Oyo and they asked us to reach another property around 2kms from this hotel and they have spoken to the manager their for 3 rooms for us. We struggled at midnight and somehow managed to reach the new place at 2:00 am and even they said that they do not have any tie-up with Oyo as they haven't disbursed their payments. Beside several calls made to Oyo customer care, we couldn't get any help. We asked for a supervisor and were put in the conference with another customer. We made multiple attempts and finally asked for a refund as we had to pay in the case at a hotel to stay. Oyo bein least courteous to compensate fraudulently said refund has been initiated and we will get an email soon. It's been more than 48hours now and we haven't received any refund or email or compensation or any communication instead on checking for refund status, it says no refund was initiated.
