[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — worst booking and customer service experience

This is regarding a booking i wanted to make through oyo in chennai for the dates[protected]Check-in) and[protected]Check-out).

The oyo customer service is so pathetic that i had to spend more than an hour, speaking to multiple customer service agents this morning between 06:00 am - 07:15 am to start a worst day i have ever seen in my life, with my issue still unresolved and my booking is not confirmed yet.

I had a booking on[protected] with reference number orpw2304. The booking was made for 4 adults with two suite (4x) rooms.

I wanted to make a modification to the above booking today[protected] where i wanted to keep the entire booking details same, but only for two adults with one room (I. E. I wanted the same room type, for the same date, with the same hotel). I called the customer service agent-1 at oyo and he assured that he made the changes and created a new booking for me with a new reference number trum4378. But, when i was about to make the payment online after disconnecting the call, i realized that the agent has changed the room type to classic (2x) instead of suite (4x).

I had to converse with a different agent when i wanted to complain about the improper service provided for booking id trum4378. This time, the new agent had to cancel my old booking (I. E. Trum4378) and he said to make a payment online through the sms link provided to me. The new booking reference number provided to me was nyjh2387. When i tried to make the payment, i got a different issue. The payment link is not working properly.

I had to call oyo customer service once again, and this time the customer care agent assured me that the payment link should work properly. To achieve this, he cancelled the old booking nyjh2387 and created a new booking with the same details. The new booking reference is ktrp6410. But, i am still faced with the same issue with the payment. I must say that oyo made my life miserable and frustrating with their pathetic customer service.

Now, i would like a booking to be done for the same hotel, for the same dates, for the same guests with the payment link for the last created booking ending within an hour. There can't be a worst experience than this to a customer after being a gold member of oyo by paying rs.300. If i am not getting a proper response or service from. Oyo, i am going to escalate this issue to the consumer court for online fraud.

3. Screenshot_[protected]. Png. The message i am getting when i modify the amount against "pre-pay for your booking" of 1075 to 1375 - "amount can't be greater than 1075".
