Today I was searching for oyo hotels for a ciry i will be soon visiting. While searching for it i created a booking by mistake for the default date set which is for today. It happened around 1 pm and i cancelled it too within 2-3 mins. Now while cancelling there is no option for booking made by mistake so i chose one kf the option from the list and wrote in the description that booking was made by mistake.
This happened because i had some balance present in my ouo rupee so the booking was made instantly and there was no pop up window asking if i am sure as soon as i clicked on the booking button by mistake.
Their OYO rupee wallet don't have option to take the money out to your bank account. And I had balance in it because in january when i was trying to make booking their app had some issue which was not showing booking confirmed although miney was getting debited. So, I made the booking through customer care and they refunded the amount in oyo rupees.
After that, I talked to their customer care twice but they were saying that booking was made after 1 pm so no refund can be done.
They don't have option in their cancellation menu for booking made by mistake that's why i chose an option and wrote in the description that it was a mistake.
And their customer service was telling me to make a fresh booking within 24 hours and once the check in and check out is done from that booking my previous amount will be refunded.
So, they expect me to pay money to get my money back.
Also they have taken hostage of the remaining amount in my oyo rupees wallet.
I don't want to use their app after such a bad experience but they son't let me take my money back from the wallet. So, I am pressurized to use their service. Was this information helpful? |
