Hi Team,
My name is shubhendu Sahoo, Booking ID MTQW5041.
I booked a hotel "Hotel Mohan Regency" on 25th July for 8 rooms 23 people from 22nd Aug to 26th Aug.
I have paid Rs.8566 on advance.
Today on 31st July. I called oyo customer care regarding cancellation policy, as due to some family issue I need to cancel the booking. When I talked with the customer care they said your full amount will be get refunded on your respective account. As there is no cancellation charges for this hotel till 21st August 12pm. Even when I booked the hotel it was also written the same regarding cancellation policy.
Then I requested him to cancel the booking on behalf of me as the full amount will get refunded.
But when he cancelled I received only Rs 3491. Rest amount Rs.5075 got deducted due to cancellation charges.
May I know why this happened ?
First your customer team told me there won't be cancellation charges then suddenly they deducted my amount.
If they would have provide me correct information then obviously I won't be cancelling the booking. For your wrong information and wrong commitment by your agent my money got wasted. Even I have asked him twice before cancelling.
But he told me no need to worry sir your full amount will get refunded.
Now when I called again your customer care, they said they can't help me out.
What kind of business you all are running. You all are playing with customer.
Look into it on priority as this happened due to your staff wrong information. If earlier he would have told me everything correctly then this would not not be happened.
This really disgusting.
