My complaint is regarding a Whatsapp scam where I received a message from someone pretend to be a part of the OYO team at Hotel Riva International (Capital O 30550) shortly before my check-in time. I was told that rooms are limited and I need to urgently pay the remaining amount or my room might not be available anymore. I had just arrived from Bangalore and was in the taxi on the way to the hotel and didn't want to lose my room or have any problems with the check-in so I paid the amount to the account, after which the whatsapp account deleted all the messages and stop replying to me.
Normally I would not do such a thing, but the person who called me seemed very professional and had all the details about my checkin that only OYO knew, hence I thought it was an official person from OYO. Even the Whatsapp messages were an exact copy of the official OYO account, which convinced me that my payment would be safe.
There is no way anyone other than an OYO worker would know all these details as shown in the below screenshots, hence the scam was due to a lack of security from OYO or a data leak, or possibly it is a person working with OYO that is doing these scams. I have also reported this matter to cyber crime. I would like a refund for the amount of 5, 920 that was scammed from me due to a data breach from your side. I have attached all the screenshots below of the conversation and the payments.

That is not true, although someone from the guest experience team contacted me and I told them the same issue in detail, as well as sent them an email that is the same as the above query, I still haven't received a response even after multiple follow ups asking for a response. The ticket number is #8542481, please have a look at it and get them to respond to me via email or call.
