01/nov/2019 i have booked room via online in coorg, karnataka, india named as prestige residency with oyo android application. Half of of the amount 1480 inr was deducted from my account as advance payment for two nights stay. Once again i spoke with customer care. They told room was confirmed and no need to worry. I got confirmation massage as well. When i visited the "prestige residency". They told that they will not accept the oyo booking. If need i have to pay full amount again as a cash to stay. When i called oyo customer care. They told they will arrange another room but i have to pay separately. Deducted amount will not carry forward. Deducted amount will be refund latter on. I'm suffered with this service. I'm standing with my wife on road in unknown place. Simply customer care representative is telling that i'm just employee and i can't do anything. My questions are
1) if prestege residency is not accepts booking of oyo in the sense why they put that residency name in android application.
2) how oyo can deduct my money.
3) i saw oyo board in prestige residency as well. Why they put oyo banner in that residency.
