I have lived in many cities in India and so i have experiences with several internet connection. And after comparing with the rest of India this PMPL of Kolkata has given me nightmares. These frauds sells 512kbps for 500 a month and 1mbps for 1000.

their plans are time machine taking me to the past. Currently all my friends in different cities have connection speed over 60mbps within the price of 1200 a month. Question is why cant PMPL improve their connection with fibre optics and new plans with better connectivity. They have very fluctuating pings and very frequent time out and I am sure many will not understand what it is. Go to run type "ping (your dns address) (space) -t" and see it yourself how often you get to see request timeout msg in between the pings.

Above all they have the worst customer service ever. Representatives barely know anything about how does a router work or what is the term called "lag" or "packet data loss"
I am doomed as my area has no other ISPs but my advice if you have different options please go for anything else and never even think of PMPL.

I am facing issue from 10th july .No response and neither any Engineer visits in my house.Each and every time ms is droping . Very poor Network.Unable to use it.whenever i complaining about it after 12 hours they sent me a text that your issue has been resolved.They are closing my Ticket with out any information.

    I am unable to access the broadband services while I am paying for it each n every month but hardly I can use it for maximum 10 days in one month . . Also getting very poor connection for last 3 days, am from asansol nd local pmpl operator always says he is looking after. ..but there is no solution... is the server always be going down? Really very upset with ur services. ...I can't get any access in urgent...my work has been hampering since I got d connection. .can't i get the improved service? Plz do the Needful..

      Net is very very very slow since 4 days, not surffing any page. kindly reform me as ur reliabale customer... i am from liluah, howrah and it is very necious to me to use internet for my daily work... i called your company many times but no responce from there. if it will go continuely then i will leave the internet line tomorrow. hope u will do the needfull as soon asw possible

        We have taken broadband connection of pacenet internet service provider at m k amin arts & science college and college of commerce, padra, a constituent college of the ms university of baroda. they have charged payment for full year & services stopped before 4 months to complete a year, no response for restoring the connectivity. now neither they are listening complaint nor ready to refund money. we will move to consumer forum soon. contact no of pacenet is[protected].

          While using wifi i am unable to update google play store applications and youtube is also not opening. There are some of my neighbors who are using the same connection and they are also facing the issue. Though other websites are opening but anything related to google is not working.

            The service is pathetic. once or twice a week is the service good. else everyday the speed is pathetic. forget about smooth buffering, a simple page does not load. and there are days when simply there is no connection. The customer care is even worse. its just a eye wash. no one ever takes the call...and its named 24*7.

            i do not understand what i am paying for. ..if i do not receive a call back, this complain is going next to the consumer forum. i have all the right screenshots to prove my fact.

              I have taken PMPL broadband connection few days ago. I've heard that PMPL is one of the best ISPs available in market. But after taking their seivices, it seems like GPRS is much better than it. So low download speed, even in torrent sites. My pack is Rs 460 unlimited plan. It's really very mush disappointing. Even those small websites take a lot of time.

                I have been using PMPL service for more than 1.5 yr and have been suffering this prb for quite sometime.Even when i complained my LCO about the issue they always say they took measure but there is no result, then i complain our ISP (PMPL) which they seem to take likely and delay the matter with irrelevant reply.

                I have spent hundreds and hundreds to call them and they never seem to be bothered about it.They never maintain their servers properly neither have any dedication toward their customer.Whenever someone complains they say they are working on it and it would take time.

                I kindly request you to look into this matter and resolve this as soon as possible.

                  P. M. P. L. Broadband and its peering service is total in dark. They doing nothing but misbehave the customer faith. I hope they make some fund for them, they doing lots more profit by unauthorized controlling the speed and download limit, without permission of customers and bb plan.
                  Hope they need to protect by consumer forum act under govt. Norms other than just cut the line down from your home. There is no other way to stop them.

                  They customer support service is also fake. They also misguide me.

                  So please friend, do something to stop them, they are not reliable.

                  I have taken Jet Classic pack, according to which i should get upto 2 Mbps speed (250KBps) at night (12.00-8.00a.m.) But I only get this speed for first 250 M.B. Download . Then it goes to as low as 25 KBps.

                      Very poor service provided by local internet dealer. They take the charge in the first date of month and then don't take any action when the Internet connection fails.No option to take another local net connection.Frankly speaking it's damaged the reliability of PMPL net..so plz do step for this..I think a possitive reply I will get from you .

                      I am a user of meghbela broadband and my used id is five_ukd. As i am using wifi router to connect my phones to internet i am facing a problem I have to login the broadband page from my mobile browser to browse internet and the connection gets automatically disconnected after 30-45 mins then again I have to log in to browse internet. When I contact my service provider for troubleshooting of this issue they told me that I have to pay some extra charges for shifting to auto log in but other service providers in my locality doesn't claim any additional chargers for auto log in and i also didn't get any satisfactory answers from meghbela broadband help line so can you please explain why i have to pay the extra charge for auto log in facility this is really annoying and now i am thinking to shift my service provider.If you kindly look into the matter i will be really helpful. have some shame show your guts to reply to mails of your customers.

                      I am very unhappy with your services these days. I have been getting a constant internet interuption for the past 2 months. Every now and then i have to call you guys to get my internet fixed which you all tell "sir abhi checking ho raha hai" or we will send it for checking which you all have no idea when the problem is going to get fixed.
                      i understand that 3-4 days there can be some technical problem but for past 2 months this have been very persistent. Being an internet service provider if you all dont know how to provide a stable internet then better shut down your business. Its so frustrating to call you guys everytime and spend all my balance speaking to you all as if
                      you are my girlfriend and i spend money on phone only to talk to you guys. If the problem will be like this i better go to some consumer forum and report this incident and post the screenshots of pings in social media like MOUTHSHUT, TWITTER, FACEBOOK, so that people should know what kind of connection you are providing. This have to stop, do something to fix this idiotic connection. Why should i bare this?... Am i paying half the money or am i getting a free internet that you all provide the internet like this. If so i would like to get reimbursed my money i have paid till date. Fix this damm problem.

                          Friends I Arup Roy at Haridevpur taking high package 6 MBps but when every 8 pm the speed go down to 1 mbps or less, so many times i complain to PMPL and local operator but they can't find the problem last three month...never take PMPL high packages

                            I have problem with my connection and that is speed is very low whereas with same package others are working smoothly. I have called them a no of times and each time they are saying "we are taking your complain and we are checking..." just up to this. No further progress. Each time they are doing this . And an other problem is every time when I doing argent work in my pc I ping my connection and then got request time out...                               Dear Sir/Madam, Its been two days since I have lodged complain and no proper resolution has been provided yet your technical department in-efficient and lack the expertise which is expected of the. There are multiple sites that are not opening in my PC. I have spent a lot of time explaining the same to Amir, Ashish, Abhijet, Surrender..ETC ETC neither I have been given a complain ID no or docket no. regarding this problem, nor a proper timeline within which this problem will be solved. The problem is with the IP Address I have been provided and 6 DNS servers that i have been given. There is my neighbour nilabh_vcc, The same sites are working in his PC. Many sites including YOUTUBE is not working. I need a proper explanation as to why this issue is persists in the First Place which is to be explained to me by a skilled technician form your company my calling me on my No. and see to that this issue resolved by today.

                              Internet gets auto logout

                              My net connection gets automatically log out when im loggin in from my mobile . suppose i am watching a movie in hotstar, suddenly a scrreen pops up saying"no internet connection". then again i have to log in from my mobile browser, , this is not too good, as senior parents are not aware of this technical glinch.

                                Respected Sir, I Sandip Thakur user of PMPL Broadband from Kolkata. We use to play online gamers like CS:GO and cod4 so we need stable connection for that but my connection is unstable, ping loss, disconnect while playing or serfing internet.

Because most of the day your connection is gone for some time and for resolve it it took long time and day of 22.04.2015 Internet link fail. Till date ping is Request timeout.                                     What a disappointing situation, , in oct i am in Jet Silver Economy plan . and pmpl change my plan to jet classic without infromming me. what`s going on, , if the pmpl unit thinks that the user are just like kid, , they are totally wrong .. And the money, without any recipt they took 620₹ per month .. In their site the plan are cost Jet Silver Economy///512 Kbps//550/- Jet Classic ///256 Kbps////400/-...

                                    my name is sukanta besra.i got problem on gaming ping.at 1st its gives 60-75 on malayasian server (counter strike online).but last 2 month its gives me 250-350.i call 10-12 time in castomar care but they didnot help still.worst broadband forever.

                                      Today I take a connection from PMPL Broadband (user name - ar_bs), Haldia_Jet Silver Economy, they committed to give 512 kbps. But their bandwidth is not even close to 150 kbps, worst customer support, I have called their number 7 -8 times and only got them once and their reply is very unprofessional. I am a renowned webmaster in different forums using Internet for more than 10 years, now they telling me I don't know hot to calculate the bandwidth. This may be the first and last day of this service, I will ask for a refund, lets see what happen. But I can assure you one thing if you want a worst service just take a package from them, you will get the "World's Worst Service". Customer Support - 1/5 Service - 0/5
