[Resolved] Pantaloons Fashion & Retail — harassment in store | |||||
I faced my worst shopping experience ever in pantaloons. We were checking out clothes in trial room then the store manager called us. He took four o[censored]s inside a confined room. It was kind of scary. Holding an electronic tag in his hand he shouted; '' there is a garment missing, give me the garment!! ''. We had no idea what was going on. He shouted again, saying the same thing. We politely revolted but he pushed me out and asked me to search for the garment. I did not know what to do. So like a dog i was forced to search for the garment. We did not find anything. He asked us to remove our clothes (I don't really know why but he asked one of my friends to show his underwear). It was very very embarrasing. Then he accused us that there is a fifth person with us who has taken the garment. While doing all this he was treating us very very badly. The worst i have ever been treated. We were asking him to talk politely but he revolted and said ; '' i talk like this to everyone! ''. Then we asked him to complain to police and let us go or check the cctv footage for any fifth person. But his ill treatment went on without a break. Whenever we tried to talk logically he revolted in anger. He was talking pure illogical #. Like 'men cannot be sexually harassed' and something about 'walking naked on the road'. I really did not understand the latter one. This was the time we understood this guy is crazy and we started taking things lightly. We waited for some time, we got comfortable and started enjoying this crazy guy's company. It was very very funny. Then i started taking a video. He got very scared and asked me to delete it. His argument was ''taking video inside store is not allowed''. (I managed to take the video, i have attached it in this complaint). After some cheap investigation (Which took a lot of time) it was clear that we did not do anything. But still his tone was rude. I thought he will apologise but he abruptly asked us to leave. We refused to leave and asked him to give a number where we can lodge a complaint. Only then we will leave. I looked around and there was a poster saying : in case of ''value violation'' or ''sexual harrasment'' contact this number. I asked my friend to take a photo of that. As my friend got up to do so he snached the phone from him.in doing so the phone hit my friend's jaw and i could see it was very painful. He said ''that number is for inside matters''. I got very angry now. We still tried to take the photo but he manhandled us outside. The store manager ill treated us, hurt one of my friends, manhandled us. He is a person having no visible ability of logical reasoning. He does not treat people nicely, i guess not even his subordinates. I wish pantaloons starts hiring people based on their background intelligence and emotional skills. Employees like this will let pantaloons down. Please do not fire him or anything. I do not want someone to lose his job because of me. Next time you hire someone, just take some more time. When we said him that he is being rude, he asked us '' what is the definition of rude''.
