[Resolved]  Pantaloons — Made false Promise about 5% Cash Back through AXIS Bank

Dear Consumer Forum, My Axis Bank Platinum credit card no is [protected]. On 17.08.14, I made a purchase from Pantaloons (Diamond Plaza / Nagerbazar / Kolkata outlet) of amount Rs 6751/-through my above referred axis bank credit card and this was subjected to AXIS bank cash back benifit of 5 %. Before making the transaction, I confirmed with Pantaloons also and they said cash back is valid through axis bank credit card. But even after receipt of two subsequent statements from Axis Bank against my credit card, I saw this cash back is not credited. I took this up with Pantaloons & they are not able to provide me a resolution on the same as of now. Axis Bank has also denied the cash back telling that offer is not valid in this period. I feel myself deprived by Pantaloons as they are bluffing and doing false marketing propaganda in everywhere just to attract customer. In reality they are not a truthful retail brand who promises, but not delivers.If you can provide a resolution in this issue, I shall be glad. Regards, Santanu Mandal [protected] (Mobile)
