I had booked a pantel tablet from M/S Pantel technology ltd I made a payment on 3rd of August but now its Two month its is not being delivered, every time i call the customer care they say it will be deliver next week, this goes in every time i call them, and at last i asked them to refund back the amount they say that they will call and mail me, but they never call nor mail me back .

    Sir/Madam,
    I bought BSNL Tablet IS701R from Pantel Technologies. I came to know that it is a faulty device which must have recalled (they stopped production & imroving it to IS701RB) as i myself was not able to use because it gets repair frequently, in three months i have to visit them 4 times. During my visit they offered me another improved tablet IS701C due to non avilability of cash I told them to keep the tablet i will collect the other tablet after paying amount but they assured me they will change tab in my next visit. On my second visit after one week (during which i done research regarding the tab IS701R, which i found default like Akash Tab) their employee recognising me got cash from me & went to get my tablet replace with new & improved version Tablet. He came to me & told that my tab has been repaired & the offer has ended two days. On insisting I was able to talk to his senior, he told me the offer has ended 2 days before nothing can be done. i told him that about my observation that this tablet is like Akash one, which should not have been released in market & don't know how they roped in BSNL into this. Then he assured me that i wouldn't get any problem with tab anymore if there was any he will talk to his senior & change tab. With in 10days it got repair, when i went 3 time the senior told i can't get replace with improved version instead he repaired my product & gave back. Within 2days it got repair, I spoke to their After saler manager regarding this he said he will look into this matter & call back. He didn't call back or took my call for a week & after a week on receiving my call he discussed matter with the senior who dealed with me & told me to come to their office. When I went 4th time, they told me both senior & after sales manager are not here and don't know when they would be back. I tried both of their mobile which they didn't pickup. Then one of the employee attended me, i told him every thing he repaired my tab & gave back to me.

    Problem with Tablet IS701R observed:-
    1) Product similar to Akash but Pantel didn't do any market research like Akash did by issuing 1,00,000 Tabs & scrapped project when found its not a good product.
    2) Launched using Brand name of BSNL, which i think wihdrawn itself due to Bad quality product (not in news as they did during launch).
    3) Tabs has lots of problem which they were not able to solve till now (Poor battery backup they say 3hrs, in 3 months its not even giving 2hrs, OS not good crashes frequenty etc). So they stopped production.
    4) They intially replaced TAB IS701R with Improved & costly one TAB IS701C. Now they are using the replaced product by repairing & giving to customer coming with any complaint (if it has been in case of any good company they would have replaced with new Product or they would have refunded).

    The product has been in repair for 2 months in 3 months, if say this to them they say we will replace with another one (which is used by some one & replaced, also its not sure that it will work good), which i don't want as mine still looks as new. I feel they have cheated me, I want refund. Kindly, give me solution as soon as possible.

      I had requested T-Penta Tabled from Pental Technologies online.

      After received mail from Petal, I deposited amount (T-Pad cost + SIM card cost) in Punjab national bank as mentioned in mail.


      I received T-Pad after 2 months.

      But I have not received BSNL Sim Card with Preloaded plan after 4-5 months.

      Please suggest what should we do in such case?

        Hi,

        I Just Buyed a Pental tablet(PENT0099275) around a month back. Initally it was not working then I went to the store mentioned in there site at borivali they did something and it started working.

        Again a Month Later now the start button of the tablet went inside the same store says they do not support customer support of pantel tablet anymore.

        In a couple of month there are 2 issues with the same tablet.Since it is under wattenty want to get the replacement peice for the same.

        Please help me in this.

          MAIL SENT ON 20TH JULY 2012 TO COMPANY ON [protected]@pantel.in BUT NO REPLY RECEIVED .....

          Dear Sir,

          I had calls from Mr. Ravi Pathak and Mr. Amit Parashar regarding the faulty delivery made to me under my order no PENT0062246. And they have informed the following:-

          1. The T Pad was sent to me without the SIM, even though I paid for a T Pad with SIM. They now say that they are ready to supply a dongle where the SIM can be put. I do not agree to this as nowhere in the specification or later I was told that the Pad will have to used with a SIM only thru’ a dongle. I would not like the port to be used for dongle and thereby can’t use any other attachment, as it has only one port.

          2. The SIM supplied will have to activated by my going to Pune or Nagpur. This again is very strange how could you ask a customer from Mumbai to go to Pune or Nagpur to get the SIM activated. You knew from the date of booking and till you dispatched the Pad that the user is in Mumbai and if you did not have the facility in Mumbai for activation, you should have:-

          a. Put up on the website that this offer is NOT for Mumbai. OR
          b. Immediately after you booked the order informed that condition that SIM will have to activated in different city. OR
          c. Refused to take the order.

          Now after accepting the payment, making the delivery you cannot put up conditions. Your offer to refund the amount paid for SIM is also not in order, as it is of no use to have a Pad without the SIM. If this restriction was mentioned in your website or in your order confirmation I may not have opted for the Pad.

          3. As regards my complaint of a totally inactive screen to slide action, your now claiming that in case i want the Pad with a slide option, I will have to upgrade to a higher model is again not in place. You have no where in your website mentioned that the screen offered with this model is less active to slide action, and that if a customer wants a totally active options he should opt for the other models. You have deliberately concealed this fact. Your offer to now upgrade the Pad to a higher model is not in place as it shows that you have misguided the customer to buy a model and if he complaints offer him a next model and take the difference amount. Nowhere in your site you have mentioned about this restriction to use of this T-Pad.

          Hence I request you kindly provide a T-Pad which is as per the specifications given in your Invoice and which works to the satisfaction of the customers. Please do not escalate the matter.

            MY BOOKING ID ON PANTEL TECHNOLOGIES WAS PENT0034123..FROM THE DAY I GOT THE PRODUCT MY TABLET IS 701R WAS WORKING FINE WITH MY HUWAEI MODEM..BUT FROM LAST 7 DAYS ITS NOT WORKING.ONCE WHEN I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE THEY TOLD ME TO RESET MY PRODUCT AND CALL THEM AGAIN.I CALLED THEM MORE THAN 2-3 TIMES BUT EVERY TIME SAME ANSWER I GET THAT I WILL GET TECHNICAL CALL FROM THEIR SIDE...ITS BEEN 4 DAYS BUT TILL NOW I DO NOT GET ANY CALL.....NOW WHAT TO DO ?

              Dear sir,
              My booking id is:PENT00150193, I have made payment for the tablet in PNB on[protected], and got confirmation mail on[protected].
              But until today I had not received any delivery nor any further information on the delivery of the product, I should have got my tab in 5-6 days as promised, its been 19 days please look into the matter.
              I even send them four mails enquiring about the delivery of tablet but not received any reply from them.

              They took about 10 days to deliver the tab, but I am happy that I got my tab safe & sound in perfectly good condition.
              I just took the docket number from the customer care at Pantel[protected] and asked them for the status update.

                i got bsnl tablet booked through their channel Pantel Technology wide booking ref. no PENT0093629. on 15th may I got a message that delivery of my device is ready and i was asked to deposit money in any PNB branch. I deposited amount Rs. 3500/- at millar ganj branch on 23rd may .I was asked my device will be delivered with in 96 hours of depositing the amount. Till now I have not received the said tablet. I mailed them regarding delivery but got no responce. Please help me in solving the said problem. thanking you

                I was going through the same problem that you are going through. My tab was delivered within a few days after I had a word with the customer support guys at [protected]@pantel.in. Try writing to them here, and they are responding as well as on twitter...hope it helps.

                  I have got an email from Pantel that your T-pad delivery is ready so I made payment on June 08 -2012. I am suppose to get the product within 96 hours i.e. by June 22-2012. I have been following up with customer care but they are so irresponsible that every time they ask me to wait for 2 more days. They have given the following reasons of delay:

                  1) The product is under testing:As per my email the "product is ready for delivery(email tag line)", then why it is in development. Does Pental make product once payment is confirmed.
                  2) PNB bank got fire, because of it, there is pending queue.
                  3) Shortage of product: I don't understand it, how they can have shortage when I get an email "Your T-Pad delivery is ready'.

                  They are so unprofessional that, they were chit chatting while answering to my calls. When I ask to connect to senior today (June[protected], he told to another executive "abe baat karle ye senior se baat karna cahta hai". At least they should use mute button. So unprofessional.

                  I am really disappointed by making advance payment to them, Now, I can guess the quality of product as well.If the pre-sale service is worst,then don't expect any service post sale. It is going to be worst product.

                  On June 29-2012, I spoke to Aarish (represented as floor supervisor) and he committed to me that on Monday he can provide the dispatch detail and the product will be delivered by first week of July i.e. July 07.

                  On Monday i.e. July 02-2012, I called again as I don't receive any email. The executive again told me to wait for 3 days. When I reminded about Aarish promise and ask her to connect me to Aarish, I have not been connected to him.

                  Today (July[protected] another supervisor came on line, his name is Sanjay and he didn't told me anything because he want to speak to Aarish first. He promise to call be back within one hours i.e. by 1:07 PM. He called me saying that he doesn't have dispatch detail but product will be delivered. What is the benefit it'll be delivered in a year.

                  Please don't order any product from Pantel.

                    I had paid the advance payment on 28/05/12 however I received the tablet on 30 Jun 12,after series of complaints/mails/calls to both the Pentatel and the courier company Gati.

                    However to my demise,the item seems faulty as postcharging there are continuous sessions of booting,The screen does not respond to touch .The times indicated is 2.30 hrs. ahead of IST. I have tried to use reset button with no results. Further is clear visibility of spilling of fluid on screen.The BSNL data card not received

                    The technical support does not exist.

                    I desire replacement/returning the item back.

                    I purchaae a pena tab 701c but there is some problem i am facing first of all no connection shows with photon+ or any sgm modem. secondly after inset a pen drive tab shows it as usb storege but whare it locates and how could i prceed for other activity with usb mass storage. anyone can help me plz.
                    I have purchade bsnl penta model IS701C but here is problem when I switch on then it requir paasword. pin for unlock the device.kindly tell me how can I open .and also I not set ant type of paasword pin number

                      I have booked a pantel Tpad through their website www.pantel.in and i got their mail regarding the payment as the delivery was ready. i DEPOSITED the entire amount in PNB using challan. Then I got a mail after a week regarding the payment confirmation. But, i didn't get any further e-mail regarding the despatch details. I mailed my complaint to them more than thrice. They didn't reply till now. I just want to know the current status of my tablet delivery. I request the BSNL authorities to take proper action against the company and dont support the pantel products.

                        I had purchased T-Pad Is701R from m/s Pantel Technologies Pvt Ltd,via online .My order no.PENT0047630 in name of Mr. Avinash T.Bhosale. I have received this T.pad on 08/06/2012 by gati courier. When I open the box and started T-Pad ,the seal was broken. And then when I started the T-Pad, after few minutes it wasn't working. Then I tried to approach the customer care number [protected], but this number is always busy. I am trying this number from last 10 days finally on 20/06/2012 they attended the call. I discussed my matter with them.They lodged my complaint.My complaint no. is Pantmum/12/6/2020/0029 and told me to contact their service center m/s Alpha Enterprise, Shop no. 135, 1st floor ,Gokul Shopping Centre,Borivli (East), Mumbai-92. When I visited this place, surprisingly I found that the shop was shifted to another place 2 years ago and company didn't knew about it. Then I approached on telephone no. [protected] of Mr. Gautam,the service centre owner. He told me on phone to visit his new place which is located at Borivli East. When I visited this place and showed the T-Pad, they told me that it has a virus problem and told me to pay Rs.450/-. I refused to pay this money because my T-Pad is under warranty and I received this Pad 10 days back. But they refused to repair this Pad giving the reason that the seal is broken and told me to approach the company. I am trying the company's customer care no. but its always busy. I request you to please look into the matter urgently.

                          I had made payment of Rs.3749/- through PNB on 29.05.12. Eventhough the company promised to make the the delivery within 96 hours, even after a lapse of 22 days I have not received the PENTA T-PAD. I have sent several mails to the company, but there is no reponse.. The gullible public is being cheated by the company. I booked the T PAD as the company had given wide publicity about the tie up with BSNL for the product. Government / BSNL should take note of this and restraint the company from using their name for cheating the public.
                          If the company can not deliver the T pad, they should immediately refund the amount collected from the public.

                          Pad to read site — Non-payment

                          The site id totally a scam site it seems.I was a free member of the site and had

                          reached the cashout limit of 5000.But when I tried to cash it out they are showing

                          the upgradation buuton and saying they will pay if I reach 5000.You are hence

                          requested to caution your visitors regarding joining.

                          pantel — non receipt of penta t-pad after payment

                          i have booked a penta t-pad IS70R online in march 2012. i got confirmation mail on 23rd april and was asked to pay moneythrough challan at pnb. i did the same on 26th march, today is 4th april, still no confirmation received. no response from customer care (always busy). this is really poor way of treating customers.

                            Booked Penta T pad with pre booking Id PENT 0068838.
                            Payment of Rs 3749 through PNB Andheri Mumbai On 17.05.2012
                            Pantel confirmed the receipt of Payment through E mail
                            scan copy of payment challan send as per request.
                            Till date not received the instrument.
                            Received only e mails saying that " Your payment is on verification mode and sorry / apologizing for the delay will dispatch soon"
                            Kindly intervene and help to get the delivery of T Pad immediately.

                            I have done payment on 25.05.2012 through PNB bank against my Pre-Booking order PENT00152391 and I have received payment confirmation by Pantel. Now 21 days been passed after payment done and I did not get any update regarding to product delivery. Kindly provide me sufficient information regarding how many days Pental Company takes, to deliver the tablet after payment done.

                            on 16.06.2012 I got a call from M/s Gati Courier that They have received a parcel from Pantel Technologies. I got the delivery of my Panta T Pad on 18.06.2012.

                              I have paid BSNL Pantel Tablet Rs 3725 on 14.05.2012 after paying their mail recd thaht you have been deliver the tablet within 48 hours but after one month i have not rec my patel tablet i have mail to pantel customercare service for 25 times but they have not reply to me i need my tablet plus one month interest & i have been haresh by pantel tablet not any contact with me so pl take action ag BSNL also becuase bsnl has publish that pantel with us but bsnl also not interest to his customers

                                I had booked "T-Pad IS701R With BSNL" having Booking ID : PENT0059176 with Pantel Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
                                On 12.05.2012 I got confirmation mail that delivery is ready and to make payment in Punjab National Bank. On 18.05.2012 I made the payment in PNB Panvel. On 23.05.2012, I got mail that they have received the payment and T pad is being sent through M/s Gati within 24-96 working hours. But tilldate (14.06.2012) I have not received delivery of the T Pad.
                                I wrote mails so many times to please give details of delivery dispatch, docket No. , date etc. But no answer is being given.
                                I tried so many times on their phone numbers also, where the message `You are valuable customer for us, our executives are busy to provide services to other customers, please hold’ and `services to this number are not available’ is heard for all the time. When ring is heard, phone is not lifted by their people. I suspect this is bogus company, as I read another complaint on this blog.

                                  on 15th may i got a mail from pental technologies (pantel.in) that my tablet is ready to deliver,BOOKING ID -PENTA0053461 and i should make payment through given punjab national bank challan attach by mail.then

                                  I have made a payment of Rs.3749- by a cash through punjab national bank , sadar branch at Jabalpur. dated 21-may-2012 to

                                    sir, i received a mail (as per my request for penta tablet ) from pantel technologies ltd, stating that my product (penta 701r tablet)is ready for delivery. So as per the instructions on e-mail, i paid the money on 22nd may and received payment confirmation mail on 26th may 2012. In the mail they promised to deliver the product, after receiving the payment confirmation mail within 96 hours ( not working hours). So as per their promise on email i should have received the product on or before 30th may.. but I've not yet received the product, not even the dispatch details...
                                    Please help me.. as i sent them several e-mails regarding this problem, but i have not yet received any response from their side.
                                    I was going through the same problem that you are going through. My tab was delivered within a few days after I had a word with the customer support guys at [protected]@pantel.in. Try writing to them here, hope it helps.

                                      I received BSNL PANTEL TABLET T-PAD IS701R on 04/06/2012 after completing all payment formalities. I have the following complaints with Pantel Technologies:

                                      1. I have not been sent or offered BSNL 2 G DATA CARD alongwith with the offer of purchase.

                                      2. The TABLET is not been working since it has been delivered to me due to some technical problems. I have sent mails/contacted Pantel but of no use.

                                      3. The Delivered product is not as same pre-booked by me on the pantel site.

                                      4. Company's customer care deptt. is not effective. They do not provide any complaint no. or time frame to solve the problem.
