I am writing to bring to your attention the extremely distressing experience my mother had following a dental implant procedure carried out at your A.S. Rao Nagar branch, Secunderabad, in June last year.
Before the treatment, we were assured that she would be able to eat soft foods soon after the procedure and resume normal foods within six months. However, soon after the surgery, the dentures became loose and started getting dislodged. As she had to travel abroad shortly afterward, she had no option but to endure continuous pain and discomfort for several months.
Upon returning to India, we contacted the clinic again. The dentures were replaced, but unfortunately, this second attempt also failed. My mother is 76 years old and has diabetes and hypertension, and this prolonged ordeal caused her significant physical pain and mental trauma. She continued to bear the discomfort for almost a year, hoping the situation would improve, but it only worsened.
Recently, her condition deteriorated further. On consulting other dental specialists, it was revealed that the initial implant procedure had not been done properly. The pain became unbearable, and the new doctor had to remove the dentures completely, causing her additional suffering.
This entire experience has been extremely painful and disappointing, both physically and emotionally, for an elderly patient who trusted your clinic’s assurances.
I request that the clinic kindly:
Review the case in detail and provide a written explanation of what went wrong.
Offer appropriate corrective action or refund/compensation for the failed treatment.
Ensure that necessary steps are taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
Please treat this complaint with urgency and respond at the earliest with a resolution plan
