I received email from Consulate General of India - Toronto Canada office stating that they are still awaiting for RPO Pune to clear my Indian Passport cancellation and surrender. Details are mentioned below.

Request to please issue clearance on the surrender of my Indian Passport to Consulate General of India (CGI) Canada Toronto office as there has been no documents received at the CGI Toronto office. Please mark me too on the email correspondence.

    Applied for Renewal on 5/12/23 but not yet received

    Submitted my passport application on 05/12/2023 at Pune PSK and completed physical police verification on 11/12/2023 at DEHU ROAD Police Station.

    The status shows "Police report has been submitted by Dehu Road Police Station, Pimpri Chinchwad and sent to SP Office, District Pimpri Chinchwad for review."

    Indian Passport Surrender clearance

    My name is Mitesh Subhash Shah and I had submitted my Indian Passport surrender application submitted in BLS Brampton Ontario Canada as on dated 02/08/2023, Passport Fee Receipt number being 23-[protected]. It's been almost 2 months and I still haven't received my Indian Passport with surrender certificate. The tracking just shows status as " Processing at Consulate" from past 2 months.

    Police verification Pending at SP office Pimpri Chinchwad

    Hello sir, I have applied for new passport & my physical verification done in Pune RPO on 13 .11.2023. My File No is -PN[protected].

    On 18.11.2023 my physical police verification done at Nigdi police station & same day it was sent for SP office police verification. Since after 25 days also status is showing same. I dont understand for what it is stuck....

    Hi Team,

    I have submitted passport request for renewal of my daughter passport on 27th Oct 2023, after police verification now it is stuck in Commissioner of Police for review from last 5 days. We need to travel abroad for my project on urgent basis but not able to proceed with application as my daughter passport is not yet received.
    I had took passport appointment prior to my travel plan hence was not able to change it to tatkal.

      Hi, i have applied for renewal of my daughter passport. Her appointment in passport office was dine on 26th Oct followed by police verification next week. Now the status is displayed as’Police report has been submitted by Hadapsar Police Station, Pune City and sent to Commissioner of Police, District Pune City for review’ from past 5 days. I need to travel for project but if my daughter passport is not received this week i have to travel without them which will be very problematic as my second kid is just 3 months old.         Hi Team,

        I have submitted my passport application at RPO Pune camp by 18 Oct 2023. In addition to that, My police verification have also be done by 21 Oct 2023.

        Now, My application is stuck at SP office more than a week for clearance submission and my status still shows PV has been initiated and request sent to police station. Passport will be dispatch after PV clear report submitted. On this status note, my local thana said your file have been submitted to SP office Pune.

        could you please look into it ASAP as I need to travel abroad this month with prior setup. Hence, it's my humble request to check on the same.
