hi this is harish ...I have applied for passport on 23-june-2008 .I have not got my passport yet.I have applied for my passport when i was in the last year of engineering at chennai .But now I am at job in Mumbai .I have visited passport office many times .Now I want to cancel that passport and apply new one .What is the procedure

With all due respect I SUDHIR KUMAR applied for passport on June 2009. My file no is RCH-A[protected]RANCHI) and after completion of more than 365 days I haven't got my passport although my all adress which i had mentioned are same. Helpliners are also not receiving our calls.
so, with the consideration of above complaint plz send my passport as soon as possible.

The status in the Net shows that "APPLICATION IS PENDING FOR WANT OF POLICE REPORT". tHIS IS THE STATUS SINCE LONG. Delay in Passport

I, my brother and my sister in law applied for passport on 23/04/2010 vide file no.'s w235589; w235595, w235633. But till date police enquiry is not over. When we check the status on net it is showing as police report not yet received. How will they receive police report when police enquiry is not over. It is shocking that who ever applied along with us on that day they have received the passport it means they are issuing passports only those people whose applications are processed by agents and who are greasing their palms with money. I would like to know whether will we be getting passports or not. I am in need of my passport.

applied for passport for 3 members of family .After police verification completed for all 3 we received only 2 passports.one passport with REG.NO-M00302610 dated-26.04.10. in the name of NIYATI SINHA yet not received. after several complaints by mail they infored to furnish fresh FORM NO-1 .
Then i sent duly completed form no-1 by speed post on 28.08.10. Since then no action is being taken by passport office.Even they are not updating the STATUS of application.Kinly arrange to issue my passport urgently.

I, Rajesh Prabhakar, resident of P-419, Sector 21, Jal Vayu Vihar, Noida, had applied for re-issue of my passport and the application form alongwith the requisite documents were submitted at Ghaziabad office, vide file ref number GZB-B[protected], subsequently on checking through sms/website the following message have been received " Police verification has been waived and file is under process".
Regret to state that even after the lapse of 3 months the passport has not been delivered.
