Passport Verification — verification of passport

With due respect, i would like to bring to your kind notice that i had applied online for issuance of a passport on 29/10/2017 and the passport officer, guwahati was kind enough to call me for an interview on the next day. On completion of the interview, my case (File no. Gu[protected] was referred to the police commissioner's office at guwahati who in turn forwarded the case to satgaon police station, guwahati 781171 for conducting necessary police verification. Satgaon police station contacted me about 15 days back and asked me to report to them with necessary documents to prove my identity and address. Accordingly, i met the concerned police official at the aforesaid police station and presented before him my original birth certificate, hslc admit card, driving license, electricity bill etc. Now the scenario is that local police station said that they have forwarded my passport file to sp office and sp office say that they haven’t got my file from the local police then again i am came to local police station to cross check whether they have sent the file or not and they said they have sent it, if sent then where is the file gone in middle of the road, its been around two month ago police verification done from local police station.

In view of the foregoing, i most humbly request your good self to look into the matter and issue appropriate orders in this regard so that i am able to get a passport issued in my name as early as possible.
