Paypal — fraudulent entries in my bank account

Two debit tranctions were made in my bank account with iob derebail br mangalore, by some one through paypal on 24th august 2017.
1) ecom - paypal james b [protected] sg-v[protected]inr 1477.96
2) ecom - paypal nidish [protected] sg - v[protected] inr 1679.50
I do not know how these transactions took place whether net banking or card use.
I have not disclosed my pword or transaction pin to any body.
Looks like they have made online purchases looking at the amount. No tractions can be made without banks confirmation of my secret password.
The card was and is with me all the time so could not be used for shopping as the card has to be swiped at the shop.
If net - banking is done then a pin has to be used, which again not disclosed by me.
To make a purchase through any ecom sites a password is to to be used at the payment portal which is confirmed by the bank and payment is made.
I am wondering how this has been done.
So keeping money in banks is not safe any more.
I feel that the bank has security problems with their system or what ever it is.
The bank branch has just frozen my account upon my request and given me a statement of the transactions to enable me to lodge a police complaint. They are not helping in any other manner.
I have lodged a police complaint, but they have no cyber crime wing here, they said.
I am at a loss to as to understand what i should do. I am 74 years old and can not run around all the time.
I request pay pal to give me details of these transactions. I could not connect to them as when ever i calledtheir customer care number i was asked give the otp, which was not possible as i dont have any account with them.
Please help me.

Even After a month of complaint I have not heard from PayPal. I only hope that they will inform me the nature of these entries, because my bank has informed me that my Debit card details have been used. I have not given my card details to anybody. I am really interested to know how these debits in my account were made that too through PayPal.
PayPal are you involved in these transactions???
