I transferred Rs.300 to my friends paytm account. My screen displayed transaction was successful, amount was debited from my paytm balance however there was no credit done to my friends paytm wallet. There was no SMS confirmation sent to me nor does this transaction show in my paytm passbook.
I tried to contact them through their my contact section raised queries 3 times but no revert. Sent them a message through fb messenger received a reply after many reminders. They said that the amount was transferred on mobile no so n so and the number provided was a 9 digit number ...again I wrote to them how can an amount get transfered to an incomplete mobile number ...but no reply inspire of sending reminders.
Also called up on their helpline number unfortunately it is IVR based there is no human who helps here. Ivrs asked me to provide the transaction number how do I provide them with the transaction details when I haven't received any confirmation over email SMS or in the passbook, so the so called helpline number was also of no use for my query.
Today its a small amount what if I would have had transferred or transacted for a big amount? Paytm is not bothered about customer satisfaction or customer greviences they do not care if the customer is unhappy with their services.
Its been over 20 days now that I have been following up with them for my money but all in vain.
