This incident caused severe burns and injuries to myself, requiring immediate medical attention. Additionally, the explosion resulted in significant damage to other items in my kitchen, including my cooking pot and several glass containers. I want to emphasize that while the gasket exploded, the safety valve itself did not sustain any damage.
