I am writing this to address a very serious issue and wrongful information being provided by policy Bazaar to me just to sale the policy. I purchased a family health insurance policy of Apollo Munich Optima Restore through the Policy Bazaar on 10th March 2017. At the time of purchase, I was offered 6500 Rs vouchers(800 Rs hard voucher * 8) from the policybazaar and I would get that within 15 days and hard copy of the policy in 7 to 10 days. I received hard copy of the policy kit after 35 days that's again after multiple follow-up. It's been two months and am yet to get the vouchers and it's been almost 2 months. I had followed up multiple times and each time I heard different excuses being given to me without a concrete resolution to the issue. Every time sales person was telling me that they would get the recording and call me next day but never they came up with the recording. It has been really frustrating so far as I never get promised callback nor there is any authority showing responsibility. When I asked to cancel the policy then again, they used to say to me that they will deduct 25% of the amount. It's clearly their fault and they are just dragging this just to buy the time. As per the norm, any one can cancel the policy within 15 days after receiving the policy kit. They clearly cheated with me by providing wrongful information. PolicyBazaar is just one of the fraud company. This is not happened only with me as I read many bad reviews on mouthshut. It's a serious issue on various counts under the consumer protection act.
