Yesterday (Friday, 26 August 2022), We went to PVR Cinemas, Piyush Mahendra, Faridabad to watch a movie (Karthikeya 2). The show (10:30 am) was booked through BookMyShow with booking id WLF9K8S.
Before entering the AUDI 03, I approached the food counter and met Mr. Vishal to collect my food combo booked online (A tub of popcorn with 2 Pepsi) but he insisted that he will deliver that to my seats asap. After waiting for next 40 mins, when no-one came to me, I decided to leave my show in between to collect my food myself. Then I met another lady who promised me to get back to watch the movie and she will deliver the food. As promised, that lady delivered the food combo but now after having a few bites, we realised that the popcorns were not fresh and for that I asked the same lady to replace it with a fresh one. She took that ort bucket of popcorns back but instead of dumping that in a bin, the PVR staff put it back in the popcorn machine with a clear intension of mixing that ort popcorn bucket with other popcorns. Now again even after a long wait of around 20 minutes, I didn’t get my popcorns back and both of the Pepsi were lost their fizz. I left my movie then and approached the food counter again to see what’s happening and I was shocked seeing that none of the PVR staff was bothered about that order getting delayed. When I complained and asked about the food then then Miss. Neelam and Mr. Vishal from the counter side argued and told me very rudely that it takes time to prepare popcorns. When I asked them that why they put that ort meal in the machine, Mr. Vishal told me that it’s their wish and that’s none of my business.
My whole experience of watching movie at PVR was spoiled and I also got a chance to know that how PVR Cinemas (A well known, Big & reputed Brand) serves their customers, how they train their staff to insult & cheat customers by taking huge money for food and providing them an ort meal.
I will come back to PVR Cinemas through a legal channel now for providing unhygienic and ort food, insulting, cheating and defaming.
