[Resolved]  Quikr — scammed by quikr employee

I was scammed by a quikr employee. She called me on the phone and told me lies that she will sell my product as a new product and increase its price to the price of a new product. I asked her that isn't it illegal she said no it's fine everyone does it, and she told me she as a quikr employee sells many used products in good condition by putting them as new products. She told me that the item is repacked as a new product by people from quikr itself. Then she told me that i will have to pay an amount of rs. 1500 so that she can put my item as a new product in google ads for 7 days. She said that's the cost to put a google advertisrmentfor 7 days.
Then she sent me a text message and told me to click on it, when i clicked on it, it opened the quikr payment page. I asked her i need time to think she told me that she will take care of everything. She told me that she will handle my advertisement and edit it. She also told me that she will inform me once my item is sold. Then she told me to pay 1500 right now as its a discounted price. She said usually it cost around rs[protected] to put a google advertisement but quikr is providing a discount for that right now. She made me pay rs 1500 while she was on the phone and once the payment was successful she hung up. The next day i called them to see what's happening and i was told by some other executive that the rs. 1500 is to upgrade free ad to quikr premium ad with a benefit to put upto 10 devices in quikr premium ad for 1 month. I was lied by that lady quikr executive. And they're not responding to my emails and no one picks up when i call the helpline [protected]. They keep giving ticket numbers but no person replies or contacts.

This complaint was due to a miscommunication between myself and the quikr team. Quikr and its emplyees are in no way resposible for the incovenience caused. This complaint has been resolved.
