Rana Motors Maruti Authorised Service Station in Okhla Phase 2, New Delhi, near Vodafone head office.
I gave my WagonR car for regular service last month. I did not ask for wheel alignment/balancing, but they would add that to the job card because it is their regular practice and this costs extra to the customer. I came to know this only when I paid a heavy bill (Rs. 4600).
This month, when my car had a flat tyre (puncture), I tried to change it with the spare wheel in the trunk. To my surprise, I found there an old tyre there. I tried to recollect, how it had happened. I do not give my car or its keys to others. The only possibility is the service station where I had given for my car for service last month.
I went to Rana Motors service station, asked for my original tyre, but they did not agree that it was their fault.
I recommend everyone to NOT give your car for servicing to this car dealer. Who knows, what part of your car will be replaced with an old/worn-out part without your knowledge, when you have full trust on the Maruti-Authorised service station. Why not get your car serviced from a road side mechanic.
I want to report this to Maruti Udyog Ltd., they should also know what their dealers are doing to maruti car owners in this country. Please if anyone knows where I can post my complaint, kindly share.
